Rebel Galaxy Outlaw Development Roadmap (December 2020)

December 20, 2020
Rebel Galaxy Outlaw Xbox PS4 Console Nintento Switch Steam Epic Games

Hello again fellow pilots!

It’s been a while since our last Development Roadmap in May 2020.  So let’s see where we’re at currently:

CONSOLE PORTS

They’re out now!  Hurray!  Grab your copy of Rebel Galaxy Outlaw on Switch, PS4, and Xbox One.  As of the end of December, we’re currently awaiting another patch which will be hopefully landing on PS4 in early 2021 to nail down any final crashing issues that are occurring.  If you haven’t already, please be sure you’ve updated your Switch, PS4 and Xbox versions to the latest patches.

STEAM LAUNCH

It’s out now, Hurray!  Both Steam and the Epic Games Store versions have had patches in October 2020, so be sure you update your games.

MODKIT PLANS

It likely comes as no surprise that the current world health concerns and the console release has continued to push out the ModKit plans.  While we’d like to give an updated estimate for this, there’s a lot that can change in a big hurry, so we’ll be announcing a date closer to release instead, in 2021.

WHAT ELSE?

With so many changes, both in the world at large and behind the scenes at Double Damage Games, where things are going next is a bit of a question mark.  When we have more news to share, we’ll post an updated Development Roadmap.

Whether you’ve been playing the PC version for over a year, or you’re a console newcomer, we hope you’re enjoying the world of Rebel Galaxy Outlaw.  Need help with an issue?  Check our Support Page for common answers, or pop by our Discord for more intense troubleshooting
